With functionality as a starting point, the Colour Cabinet evolved from a careful study of contrasts and similarities in the materials and colors used, and how one can make the other even more interesting. The cabinet body is crafted in Valchromat – a unique kind of robust MDF material – with the supporting frame made in durable steel. Both components are united by the even proportions, creating a uniform silhouette that is disrupted by the contrasting elements of color.
