Shipping and Delivery

Shipping methods for your purchases are determined by types of items ordered. Smaller items tend to ship FedEx, some furniture ships with Threshold delivery, and the remainder ships with full-service In-Home Delivery. If your order includes an item being shipped via multiple methods, FedEx charges for items shipped outside the contiguous U.S. and Canada are appended to any applicable Threshold or In-Home charges. Your cart will reflect the delivery options available for your order.

 

We ship to addresses within the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico; some limitations apply. In addition, we can ship to a domestic freight forwarder of your choosing for delivery overseas. We cannot ship to hotels, P.O. boxes or APO (Army Post Office), FPO (Fleet Post Office) or DPO (Diplomatic Post Office) destinations. Delivery within the contiguous United States

An order is defined as one shipping method selected for delivery to one address. Order value is calculated before tax. For items that are on sale or discounted, the order value is calculated using the original price.

 

If the delivery location is an island, there will be an additional $150 charge to Threshold and In-Home Deliveries. If delivery is to a remote location, there will be an additional $100 charge to Threshold and In-Home Deliveries.

Our shipping methods are determined by type of item. Smaller items tend to ship FedEx, and most furniture ships with full-service In-Home Delivery, which includes placement in your room of choice, assembly and removal of all packaging. Your Cart will reflect the delivery options available for your order.

 

FedEx Delivery

Smaller parcels will be delivered to your door Monday–Saturday, with select markets delivered on Sunday. Tracking information will be provided once your order leaves our warehouse. Typical delivery is 3 – 7 business days from shipment date.

*Please note: At this time, we’re unable to provide tracking for orders shipping to Canada.

 

FedEx Delivery, Signature Required

Smaller parcels will be delivered to your door Monday–Saturday, with select markets delivered on Sunday. Tracking information will be provided once your order leaves our warehouse. Typical delivery is 3 – 7 business days from shipment date.

*Please note: If you choose this method, someone must be present to sign at time of delivery.

 

Threshold Delivery

Larger parcels will be delivered over your threshold unless destination is a multi-unit building, in which case they will be left inside building entrance, not at your door. Typical delivery takes 1–3 weeks from date of shipment within the contiguous U.S. Includes an appointment with a 4-hour delivery window coordinated by an agent. Excludes unpacking, assembly and removal of packing materials.

*Please note: Deliveries to remote areas without highway access may take longer than usual.

 

In-Home Delivery

Larger parcels will be delivered into your space and placed as specified. Typical delivery takes 1–3 weeks from date of shipment within the contiguous U.S. Includes an appointment with a 4-hour delivery window coordinated by an agent, unpacking, assembly, placement in your room of choice and removal of packing materials. Excludes wall mounting, electrical work, structural changes, assembly of shelving and removal of non-HAY items. This method is sometimes required for select items subject to damage due to their size, weight or fragility.

Do you ship to Canada?

Yes. Shipping charges include all freight, duties and broker and clearance fees. We cannot expedite delivery to Canada. For FedEx and Threshold Delivery to Canada, allow 3–4 weeks from date your order is placed. For In-Home Delivery, allow 4–5 weeks.

*Please note: At this time, we’re unable to provide tracking for orders shipping to Canada.

 

 

 

Do you ship to other international destinations?

Our items are designed and packaged for delivery within the contiguous U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada (limitations apply). We do not offer shipping or freight forwarding to international destinations other than Canada; however, we can ship to a domestic freight forwarder of your choosing for international delivery.

*Please note: Freight forwarder quotes and commercial invoices cannot be procured by HAY. Also, we assume no liability whatsoever for any freight forwarder. We’re unauthorized to ship HAY items we know are destined for foreign locations other than Mexico and the Caribbean. Finally, we cannot ship to any PO boxes, APO/FPO/DPO (Air/Army Post Office, Fleet Post Office or Diplomatic Post Office) destinations or hotels.

 

 

 

When will my order ship?

Most small-parcel in-stock items ship from our distribution center within 1–5 business days and are delivered Tuesday–Saturday via FedEx Delivery. Select items ship from our manufacturers.

Do you offer expedited shipping options?

Prior to placing an expedited shipping order, call 833-849-3025 or email Customer Service at service@HAYus.com. Most small-parcel in-stock items can be ordered with FedEx Next-Day or 2-Day Delivery at an additional cost. Some items may be excluded due to size, weight or fragility. Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or Canada also do not qualify.

 

 

 

Can I choose my delivery date and time?

Delivery dates are offered based on your location and availability. Our carriers will do their best to accommodate you.

 

 

 

How do I know if my building requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI) prior to delivery?

Many high-rise and apartment buildings require a Certificate of Insurance prior to any delivery. To facilitate smooth delivery, it’s best to contact your property management in advance to verify COI requirements. Once you’ve done so, please call 833-849-3025 or email Customer Service at service@HAYus.com.

 

 

 

What if I'm unable to receive delivery when its ready?

If you know at time of order placement that you will not be able to receive delivery as scheduled and need to delay, please call 833-849-3025 or email Customer Service at service@HAYus.com.

 

 

 

When do storage fees apply?

We allow 10 calendar days for you to accept your order without fees, after which you’ll begin to incur daily storage fees of $10 per day, per order. After 30 days, your order will be returned back to our warehouse, and you’ll be refunded for the merchandise, less applicable return shipping costs, restocking fees and storage charges. To avoid any additional charges, please work with our delivery agents to schedule an appointment within that 10-day period.
