Norwegian furniture and product designer Ingrid Aspen graduated from the Bergen Academy of Art and Design in 2006, then continued her studies at Oslo School of Architecture and Design and Politecnico di Milano. Aspen combines her passion for working with color with precise glassblowing and metalworking techniques to produce distinct pieces. Her Bottoms Up Vase consists of a generous container resting upon a base with a similar inverted shape. When filled with flowers, it appears to float due to the negative space created by the base. Made in Turkey.
