BEHIND THE DESIGN

“The name of the chair is a reference to one of the oldest woodworking tools,” Andreas says. “The chisel has been used to shape countless beautiful objects in wood and other materials, but the silhouette of this common tool itself is also referenced. The chisel-shaped edges of the legs meet the aprons and create a dynamic rectangle between them.”
