Care & Maintenance
Do not let the candle burn down completely, as it will mark the lacquer, and heat up the candlestick. Copper is affected by air - its surface oxidizes and becomes darker gradually. This can be removed with a copper polish. A burning candle may cause soot sediment on the candlestick. The best way to remove soot is using a firmly wrung cloth. Wax on the candlestick can be removed with warm water.
